Company History and Introduction Before 1996 Our current President Mr. Yu and Donghua Chemical President Mr. Yen jointly established Hualong corp. in 1992, a subsidiary of Donghua Chemical Group. 1996 Baofeng was established independently from his mother’s company Hualong. 1998 Applied for producing Paraquat both Tech & Formulation. 2001 Agriculture dept. formally approved the application of the production and sales of Paraquat. At the end of 2001 Koon Hung Co., a holding company from Taiwan who brought with technology and capitals became new owner of the Baofeng Chemical 2003 Permanent license was given to Baofeng, the first one to local Paraquat manufacturer. 2006 Group development diversified to API intermediate production. Chemswise was established at current address. 2008-2009 Projecting Paraquat capacity expansion A. New plant site destined to be inside Chemswise plant B. New Paraquat process Cyanide-Ammonia method was determined and proceeded engineering of plant erection. 2010 A. Under city reforming policy our Paraquat old production plant had completely moved to Chemswise after 2 years engineering and construction at new facility. B. New facility covers 6000 ton/y Paraquat TK and 3000 ton/y formulation production line and tank farm. 2010 to date A. Quality system guided by ISO has been implemented to Paraquat, quality consistency has been achieved. B. Constantly improve the production yield & capacity C. Process safety automation was completed in 2014 for assuring safety operation. D. Environment protection operation continuously improves along with the regulation. |
